IFRA Annual Report 2024 highlights new leadership and work on advocacy, science, and safety

Gene­va, 27 January 2025 – The Inter­na­tio­nal Fra­gran­ce Asso­cia­tion (IFRA) has today laun­ched its Annual Report 2024 in video for­mat, show­ca­sing sig­ni­fi­cant achie­ve­ments in sus­tai­na­bi­lity, scien­ti­fic inno­va­tion, and safety stan­dards across the glo­bal fra­gran­ce industry. “This year’s Annual Report reflects new leadership and work on advocacy, science, while continuing to advocate for the safe use of fragrances worldwide,” said Alexander Mohr, PhD, President of IFRA. “The video format enables us to connect with a wider audience and present our achievements in a dynamic and accessible way.”

The Annual Report 2024 focuses on key priorities, including the implementation of updated IFRA Standards—the flagship global program ensuring the safe use of fragrance ingredients. It also highlights progress in sustainability initiatives, such as resource efficiency and waste reduction, and IFRA’s efforts to support proportionate, science-based regulations.
