Global issues

Fragrance is part of everyday life around the world — but the way it is made, used, and understood is shaped by wider global challenges.

A global industry with global challenges.

At IFRA, we work to address the big-picture issues that affect our industry, our environment, and our shared future. From sustainability and responsible sourcing to climate change and environmental protection, we engage with partners across the fragrance value chain to promote safe, science-based, and forward-looking approaches.

These are not regional concerns — they are global ones. That’s why IFRA helps bring together people, policies, and practices from around the world to find common ground and shared solutions.

IFRA’s head quarters is in Geneva, Switzerland and has its international operations center in Brussels, Belgium.
