IFRA announces launch of the 2024 Volume of Use survey

European Parliament votes to approve revision of chemicals rules

Brussels, 23 April 2024 – Cosmetics Europe and the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) today welcomed the European Parliament vote on the revision of the Regulation on the Classification, Labelling and Packing of chemicals (CLP). The vote confirms the text agreed between the co-legislators and will help support the future of the natural ingredients used in cosmetics and fragrances.

22 National Associations represent companies in 25 countries and are grouped in four regions. Regional Committees bring together representatives of National Associations and IFRA Regular Members.

Fragrance manufacturers in countries where there is no National Association. They have access to information and services but cannot vote.
